Cooking Advice: Barley orzo can be prepared like pasta or as bulgur pilaf; you can also make soup with bone broth. To cook it plain, add boiling water to cover 1-2 fingers above 1 tea cup of barley orzo. Cook over low heat with 1 teaspoon of butter until the water is absorbed. This method helps prevent vitamin loss. It cooks faster than regular orzo. You can add bone broth or chicken broth and serve with sauces, yogurt, etc., according to your baby's taste and age.
